Beginning January 1, 2026, the federal 25C tax credit for windows is no longer available. This change applies to all window purchases and installations, regardless of energy efficiency or ENERGY STAR® status, unless the credit is restored by future legislation.

ENERGY STAR® & 25C Federal Tax Credit (2025) For installations completed in 2025, the IRS updated eligibility requirements for the Section 25C Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit. To qualify for the window-specific credit, products were required to be listed on the ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient list, and carry a Qualified Manufacturer Identification (QMID) number.

While Elevate Inspire Series windows provide superior energy efficiency and insulation performance, our windows are not listed on the ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient list and therefore were not eligible for the 25C window-specific tax credit under the 2025 criteria.
